The CHANDLER BOULEVARD BIKEWAY

The Chandler Boulevard Bikeway in Burbank is a place of constant action – people running, walking, and riding bikes.

The Burbank portion of the Chandler Boulevard Bikeway is a two-mile bikeway within the former Chandler Boulevard railroad right-of-way, running from Mariposa Street to the City border at Clybourn Avenue. The Chandler Boulevard Bikeway officially opened to the public at a grand opening celebration on August 20, 2004. RULES OF THE ROAD on the Chandler Bikeway

  • No motorized vehicles will be permitted on the bikeway. The only "vehicles" permitted with motors are wheelchairs.
  • Pick up after your dogs. Bags and trash cans are provided on the bikeway.
  • Be a courteous cyclist and pedestrian. Stay on your side of the bikeway/pathway. Be safe when passing.
  • Stop at all intersections and cross appropriately and safely.
  • Be safe when entering the bike path. Be aware the Chandler is a 2 way street.
  • Follow all regulations and posted rules.

Burbank on the Chandler Bikeway at Keystone Street on December 2, 2005.
